Prior to launching Rainsbury Recruitment & Coaching, I enjoyed a 25-year career working for leading brands within the retail and hospitality sectors. Having left school with little in the way of qualifications, I started working life in Retail Operations in a youth training scheme (YTS) role. I worked hard to gain practical experience and was rewarded with management positions within large organisations as a result. Along the way I have experienced redundancy and have been involved in huge change programmes, but I have always learnt from each experience and have come back stronger for it. I now hold a CIPD qualification and I am a fellow of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and a member of the Institute of Career Guidance.
My passion has always been people development and this spurred on a move into HR, specialising in recruitment, where I successfully worked in various in-house recruitment roles, before starting up my current consultancy and coaching business.
Having spent a long and progressive career within successful, commercial organisations, for me one of the most important factors has always been recruiting the right people for the right roles. I specialise in recruiting for retail/FMCG management positions, and for roles within sales, buying, marketing and HR.
